张杰博士是西交利物浦大学慧湖药学院博士生导师、江苏省标准化专家、江苏省“揭榜挂帅”技术转移审评专家、苏州市领军人才联合会理事、苏州工业园区女科学家联合会副会长、苏州工业园区医疗器械妇联副主席。先后获得金鸡湖领军人才、姑苏领军人才、江苏省三八红旗手等称号。2009年开始,张杰博士将植物干细胞技术与生物制药技术用于名贵中草药培育,建立了干细胞化中草药培育平台,填补了国内空白。干细胞化后的铁皮石斛具备多领域的功能,极大减少了用量,数百倍提高了生产率。
